Mr. Aimon has over than 30 years’ experience in shipping Industry. Aimon spent early years of his carrier in London and Singapore serving the shipping industry before taking up the post of the Managing Director and later Chairman of Maldives National Shipping Limited. He also served as board member in Maldives Ports Authority and worked as a consultant before joining Centurion. Mr. Aimon has acquired extensive knowledge of container and break-bulk movement within Far East and South East Asia and a key player in developing the container trade and off shore ship supply service. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Centurion PLC group.
Capt. Maumoon is a UK qualified Master Mariner by profession, He commenced his maritime career in 1990 and came ashore in 1999 with a vision and ended up in Plymouth University. A double major Capt. Maumoon holds a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, and a Master’s Degree in Shipping Economics and Finance. With his insight in the logistics industry he pioneered the development of ‘local logistics’ in Maldives and came up through the ranks and became the Managing Director of Maldives National Shipping Limited. Capt.Maumoon resigned and left the national shipping company to start Stellar Group of Companies which is the main shareholder in Spectra Group.
Ms.Aminath Nasreena read Law from Maldives College of Higher Education in 2008. She holds a Masters Degree in Maritime Law and Shipping from the IMO, International Maritime Law Institute, University of Malta. Upon completion of her studies, Ms Nasreena served at State Trading Organization Public Limited Company from 2008 till 2012 as the Company Lawyer. Ms.Nasreena is an enthusiastic lawyer with drive, determination and great team working skills constantly focused on resolving legal issues and looking for ways to improve and evolve the process. She joined Mazlan and Murad Law Associates on May 2012 and is a Senior Associate at present. During her tenure at the Law Firm she lectured at the Maldives National University, Law Faculty too. She holds the position of the Legal Counsel of Maldives Airports Company Limited and is the Section Head of Legal at the Company since October 2015 till present.
Captain Adhil Rasheed started his carrier in Merchant Navy and obtained his Master (F.G) UK, in 2003. He undertook Post Graduate degree in Maritime Operations at Liverpool John Moores University. His experience ranges from handling ships around the globe to New Building Supervision to Marine survey and Loss assessment. Due his vision, enthusiasm and passion to train the Maldivian youth in seafaring, Captain Adhil has worked relentlessly in developing and promoting Maritime Education in Maldives. A pioneer in private maritime education, he founded Maritime Academy of Maldives (MAM), where he has been undertaking training across the Maldives. He is also the GM of Centurion Surveyors where he carries out ISM, ISPS & MLC Audits, Ship inspection, Valuation and marine surveying. In addition to this, he is the Co-founder of Nautical Institute, Male’ Branch, and Co-founder of Maritime Academy of Maldives.
Mr Hassan is an accomplished executive with a proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that support businesses. He started his career in the tourism industry, working his way up and achieved managerial positions at a very young age with dedication and hard work. Mr Hassan is qualified accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA – UK). He also has over 10 years of managerial experience and served various industries including Airline, Logistics, Pharmaceuticals, General Trading and Construction. He has led key initiatives in providing consultancy in business streamlining and implementing best practices and controls.
